The NFL’s post-June 1st cuts will soon be here, and while Raiders GM Dave Ziegler did a solid job with UDFAs, there are still some holes to be addressed.
The Raiders’ boss has done his due diligence following the NFL Draft and has been busy aggressively filling out the roster this offseason.
Having just a few picks (six total) hampered the Raiders’ ability to pick up some premier talent in the first two rounds, but they made do with what they had. Several key positions were addressed, such as defensive tackle, and the team also added some versatile offensive linemen, most notably, Dylan Parham.
Despite having Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake under contract, the Raiders’ new general manager loaded up on the running back position, mirroring the offensive philosophy of the New England Patriots.
Raider Nation was disappointed in the team’s inability to sign defensive back James Bradberry. However, there are still plenty of options out there to shore up a few slots that need help. Most notably, a right tackle, defensive back, and wide receiver, among others.
