10 free agents the Raiders could still target for 2022

Raiders free agent target – Benson Mayowa, DE

Sometimes you have to look to your past, and for the Raiders, the answer might lie with Benson Mayowa. Dunlap’s teammate in Seattle, started his NFL career with the Seahawks but has had two stints with the Silver and Black: from 2014-2015 and again in 2019.

While Mayowa wouldn’t have nearly the same impact as Dunlap, if Las Vegas is looking to add reliable help at defensive end, the former Raider could certainly do that.

While Mayowa had a solid 2020 outing that saw him record six sacks, seven tackles for a loss, and three pass deflections, he could not repeat that level of productivity last year. To gain some financial flexibility, the Seahawks moved on from Mayowa in March. Luckily for the Raiders, this means they can get him on the cheap; it just depends on how they’re looking to fill out their roster after June 1st.
