Where do the Raiders rank at TE in the AFC West going into 2022?

After a season where the Chargers started former Raiders star Jared Cook, they went to the free-agent market to nab another athletic receiver type. Known for his potential ever since he was drafted, he spent 2021 with the Seattle Seahawks en route to a career-high 478 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Fairly pedestrian numbers but the Chargers will hope that they can unlock his potential even further in 2022.

Perhaps the most interesting player in this group is Donald Parham. A massive player a 6’8″ and 237 pounds, he fits the “basketball player” style that the Chargers had for ages in Antonio Gates. Obviously a weapon in the red zone, Los Angeles will keep him around for situational usage and the potential that he unlocks more areas of his game.

Similar to the Broncos, the Chargers will be relying on a lot of growth in 2022. Both Everett and Parham have big potential as receivers and Justin Herbert may be the guy who helps them unlock it. After all, he proved in 2021 that he is already an elite quarterback so it is possible that he raises their level of play as well.
