Three reasons to get excited about the potential signing of Ndamukong Suh

Body of Work

Although primarily a defensive tackle, Suh isn’t the typical run-stuffer you think of when defensive tackles are the subject. Throughout his career, Suh has totaled 70.5 sacks, showcasing his elite pass-rushing skills from the interior. Using these skills, the All-Pro has been able to thrive at the defensive end position as well.

At the line of scrimmage, Suh has proven to be a factor against balls in the air, breaking up 38 passes in the same timeframe he amassed 70.5 sacks.

For his efforts throughout his time in the National Football League, Suh has been named a first-team All-Pro x3, and a second-team All-Pro x2. 5 Pro Bowl appearances can also be found on his resume, including being the winner of the 2010 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

Now 35, Suh is climbing in age – But you wouldn’t know how old he is based on his most recent tape. For the last two years, Suh put up six sacks each year, with a combined 32 quarterback hits. The former Lions’ draft pick has also forced and recovered a fumble within the last two seasons, proving he can still play key parts in turning the ball over.
