Could Davante Adams have the best season of any Raiders WR ever?

Why it can happen

Playing with future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers last season, Adams’ numbers would have crushed all Raiders WR single-season records. The star hauled in 123 passes, racked up over 1,500 yards, and had 11 touchdowns.

All of those marks would be tops for a Raiders WR in a single season.

In fact, in three of his last four seasons in Green Bay, Adams’ catch totals would have set the Raiders’ single-season mark. With Las Vegas, and the clear No. 1 option on the outside, Adams should get his fair share of targets once more, and he has more talent around him in the aforementioned Hunter Renfrow, and elite tight end, Darren Waller.

Those two elite players are going to take a lot of pressure off of him and create more room for him to work.

Based on his talent, and his relationship with Carr, Adams could be in for a career year for himself during the 2022 season. That would mean absolute obliterating any Raiders single-season record in terms of the wideout spot, and before all is said and done, he will likely be one of the more exciting wide receivers ever to play for the franchise.
