The 2022 Las Vegas Raiders could be one of the best in the AFC, after an exciting offseason that brought in some high-level talent. We have written about all of the additions, but here, we look at some returning players that have to improve in a big way this offseason.
The truth is, Las Vegas brought in talent at every position group this offseason, making it even harder to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. This is a group of returning players who either need to prove they deserve to start in 2022, or even make the team.
5 Las Vegas Raiders that have to improve during the 2022 offseason
Clelin Ferrell
From the day the franchise took him with the No. 4 overall pick, Clelin Ferrell has remained a head-scratcher and someone who has yet to live up to that draft stock. Not saying he is a bad player by any means, as he has served a purpose on the Raiders’ defense, but based on production, he could have been a Day 3 pick.
In 2022, with a new regime in place, Ferrell is going to have to prove he belongs and put together a solid offseason. The Raiders bolstered the defensive line in a big way and got better in the interior, and coming off the edge, so this is a make-or-break summer for Ferrell.
