This one is a no-brainer, as a solid Alex Leatherwood at the right tackle position is the key for anything the Raiders would like to do on the offensive side of the ball this season. Quarterback Derek Carr has a plethora of weapons to choose from in the passing game, and a loaded group at running back, but it will come down to how well the Silver and Black block up front.

Leatherwood was a first-round pick for Las Vegas back in 2021 and was inserted into the starting lineup right away at right tackle. Unfortunately, Leatherwood struggled, had to be moved inside, and the right side of the offensive line became a significant issue for Carr and the Raiders down the stretch.

The new coaching staff has placed Leatherwood back at right tackle, and all indications are that they will give him every opportunity to win back the role in Year 2. If he can do that, put together a solid summer, and be an anchor across from Kolton Miller, it will be the biggest positive development of the summer.
