LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – OCTOBER 24: Defensive end Maxx Crosby #98 of the Las Vegas Raiders slams both of his hands on the field after his sack of quarterback Jalen Hurts #1 of the Philadelphia Eagles after a botched snap was wiped out on a delay-of-game penalty against the Eagles during their game at Allegiant Stadium on October 24, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las Vegas Raiders with numbers considered, were one of the better teams in the league last season, and in 2022, the bar could be set even higher.

After finishing with ten wins and making the playoffs for the first time since 2016, the Las Vegas Raiders may have been one of the most surprising success stories last season. The 2021 season was marred early on by controversy for the Raiders that a film writer couldn’t have even drawn up.

Those tales have been told many times over by now; the 2022 season is brand new in every sense of the word. With a brand new regime taking the reigns, and superstar talent added in the offseason, this Raiders team on paper looks like an improvement over the one from only a season prior.

Of course, they are playing in a loaded division, one that has potential Hall of Fame quarterbacks on each team. For the Raiders to come out of the AFC West with a division title, or even enough wins to qualify for a Wild Card berth, they are going to have to play consistent football every week.

With this being said, let’s look at five players this Raiders team cannot live or win without.
