The Las Vegas Raiders know Davante Adams is WR1, and Hunter Renfrow is their slot guy, but suddenly, there is a ton of depth around them at the position group.

When the Raiders traded for Davante Adams, they immediately filled their greatest need with the best possible option. Adams is one of the best receivers in football and now he is reunited with his college teammate Derek Carr.

Adams will make the offense much more explosive and he is joined by other standouts such as tight end Darren Waller and Pro Bowl slot receiver Hunter Renfrow.

The Raiders offense is already set up to be so explosive, however, there is still the need to start another receiver on the outside. This “No. 2 receiver” will likely be the 4th or 5th option in the passing game, but he will still be on the field plenty.

In terms of just wide receivers, Renfrow is the No. 2 receiver, therefore, the Raiders are searching for their #3 receiver. Bryan Edwards was originally thought to be the favorite for the starting spot opposite Adams, but McDaniels was clearly not a fan of his and he was traded to Atlanta.

With that, let’s take a look at who can be that other starting receiver.
