Las Vegas Raiders: What to expect from QB Derek Carr in 2022
What 2022 could bring for Carr
Josh McDaniels not only brings unrivaled player development but also a championship mindset. Having been around the Patriots organization since the Tuck Rule, McDaniels has been around his fair share of Hall of Fame players, and Lombardi trophies, and has worked under arguably the greatest head coach of all time in Bill Belichick.
While many look to McDaniels’ first stint as a head coach in Denver, it should be noted that a decade-old debacle can humble and mature an intelligent person which is what as of now is expected. McDaniels has been known to get the most out of his players by being credited for the development of Tom Brady and Mac Jones, it is expected that McDaniels will tap into Carr’s full potential as they have surrounded him with the tools needed to succeed.
As Carr enters into the 2022 season on a new contract extension, he has his sights set on returning a Lombardi trophy to the Raiders organization, an organization that has been starved for success since last competing for the coveted title in 2003. The Raiders have developed a strong roster of good football players and smart leaders to help reach new heights and with this season, the sky truly is the limit.
5 Las Vegas Raiders that have to improve during 2022 offseason
The Las Vegas Raiders need major improvement from these five players in order for them to succeed, or the player to make the 53-man roster this offseason.
