The Las Vegas Raiders need multiple players to step up in 2022 if they hope to take a step forward as a team. Here are three players ready to take the next step.

It’s widely known that NFL players, Las Vegas Raiders included, typically take the biggest leaps in improvement between their first and second seasons. In recent seasons, the Raiders’ have seen players such as Kolton Miller, Trayvon Mullen, and Maxx Crosby take that next step in their development.

Players like Hunter Renfrow and Crosby, again, took huge leaps going into their third seasons as well. In Crosby’s case, he went from being a high motor player who had a high sack rate to a superstar with a massive pressure rate and all-around dominant player.

Young NFL players make this leap because of their first full offseason in the NFL where they get to truly focus on development and learning the NFL landscape. April offseason workouts, OTAs, and minicamp are prime developmental time before a grueling training camp.

With a new coaching staff and a full offseason, the Raiders have several players ready to make a leap.
