Foster Moreau

When Josh McDaniels was hired, he mentioned increasing the use of multi-tight end sets because of the talent in the Raiders tight end room. Foster Moreau has proven to be a quality tight end with a knack for the endzone.

While he disappointed in replacing Waller during his extended absence with a knee injury, he is a quality player who should continue to get better and receive more opportunities under McDaniels. Even Carr mentioned Moreau as a player to get extended with the future savings from his own extension.

Waller is a great player who is already entering his age 30 season and Moreau could be seen as a Waller replacement as soon as next season. Moreau has the skills to be a great blocker and a solid receiving option.

McDaniels is known for his two tight end sets and Moreau should receive plenty of open chances with Waller, Renfrow, and Davante Adams drawing coverage. Moreau is the player I can see the Raiders extending before the season because he is a favorite in the organization and an ascending player.
