The Las Vegas Raiders figure to be one of the best teams in the AFC this upcoming season, especially if they get production from some of their No. 2s.

The 2022 NFL season is right around the corner, and next month, all 32 teams, including the Las Vegas Raiders will kick off training camp. For the Raiders, playing in the Hall of Fame game gives them an early look at the team on the field, and until then, there is a lot of work to figure out what the starting lineup will look like.

Here, we look at three non-starters who could play a large role in the team’s success.

The cornerback situation for the Raiders franchise has long been an issue, but it seems they are finally starting to get it right. Nate Hobbs was a Day 3 draft pick last year and ended up being a star from the slot cornerback position, and the arrival of Rock Ya-Sin via trade bolsters the starting lineup in a big way.

Behind Trayvon Mullen, Ya-Sin, and Hobbs in the starting lineup will be a deep group as well, led by Anthony Averett. This is a guy who has experience in the NFL and has played in big-time games, so do not be surprised if this coaching staff leans on him in a big way in 2022, especially if Mullen cannot stay healthy.
