Raiders: 3 non-starters who should make a major impact in 2022
Foster Moreau
A healthy Darren Waller will return in 2022, and he is going to be on a mission after missing a lot of time during the 2021 campaign. Waller is one of the top-3 tight ends in the NFL, and without him last season, Foster Moreau struggled in the main role, which was a bit of a shocking development.
With McDaniels, tight ends play a big role, and whether it is Waller as the starter or Moreau in possible red zone opportunities, you can expect both players to be involved in a big way in 2022. Moreau has all the talent in the world, and has flashed in his first few seasons at the NFL level, so now is the time for him to take the next step forward.
Las Vegas should be explosive on offense this season and should get production up and down the lineup. Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry were productive last season in New England at the tight end position, and based on talent, the combination of Moreau and Waller should be much better.
