Las Vegas Raiders 53-man roster prediction entering 2022 training camp

Defensive Line (10): Bilal Nichols, Maxx Crosby, Chandler Jones, Matthew Butler, Neil Farrell Jr., Kendal Vickers, Vernon Butler, Kyle Peko, Malcolm Koonce, Kyler Fackrell

Las Vegas will be moving to a base 3-4 defense under Patrick Graham, so it was paramount that they bolster the defensive line this offseason. They did that in a big way, and while they should be improved at defensive tackle, it is the pass rush that could prove to be the key to their success in a very tough AFC West.

The big move on the defensive side of the ball this offseason was the addition of Chandler Jones, a former All-Pro who will team with Maxx Crosby to give the Raiders one of the dominant duos in the NFL. Crosby is a bonafide star player for the Silver and Black and based on his age, his best years are still in front of him.

This summer, the defensive line is going to be a big topic, as there are plenty of players who could crack the 53-man roster. One player noticeably absent from our list is Clelin Ferrell, the team’s No. 4 overall pick in 2019 who likely has played his way out of being a part of the future in Las Vegas.
