Identifying three Raiders who have a legitimate chance to rise to a starting role through training camp.

As the ’22 NFL off-season kicked off, fans waited in anticipation for the off-season festivities; Most notably free agency and the annual NFL draft. To the delight of fans everywhere, the rumblings of the off-season helped shape a new NFL, one where the AFC West benefitted more than any other division.

Being in the AFC West, the Las Vegas Raiders were no different when it came to being beneficiaries.

Through free agency, Las Vegas either retained or brought in 25 different players. This doesn’t include the draft, where the Silver and Black welcomed 6 new draft picks, not including the vast list of UDFA the team brought in post-draft.

Needless to say, with all these new faces, there are going to be some tight position battles.

Things to keep in mind: What the player we’re discussing offers the team, how they mesh with other players who have starting roles, and how high the Raiders’ coaching staff is on select players. With the basics covered, let’s get to work.
