Las Vegas Raiders 2022 opponent offseason review: Denver Broncos

Coaching Changes

Even though the Broncos finished last in the division last season you could actually say they overachieved in a way. They won seven games mostly on the strengths of the running game and defense.

Vic Fthe angio was the head coach of Denver Broncos last year and had to suffer through an inconsistent and injured Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock at quarterback, which I believe led mostly to their fourth place finish.

Fangio was fired this offseason and was replaced with former Green Bay Packers Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett comes from Green Bay where he has spent the last three seasons, and before that, he was the offensive coordinator in Jacksonville and helped lead a Blake Bortles offense to the playoffs.

New Offensive Coordinator Justin Outten comes from Green Bay as well where he spent the last two years as an offensive assistant this is his first year as an offensive coordinator.

Ejiro Evero is the Broncos new Defensive Coordinator he has 17 years of coaching experience including the last five seasons spent as the secondary coach and passing game coordinator. The last notable coach for Raider Nation to know is their new running back coach who is former Oakland Raider Tyrone Wheatley.
