Raiders key 2022 free agents still looking for a home

Raiders key 2022 free agents still looking for a home

Offense: Richie Incognito, Jalen Richard, Desean Jackson

Three key Raiders from previous seasons that are currently looking for new homes are Richie Incognito, Jalen Richard, and Desean Jackson. Of course, Incognito did not play this past season due to injury, but when he was healthy, he rounded back into one of the better offensive guards in the NFL.

Had it not been for his salary, Incognito would have likely been back with the Silver and Black, and if the younger players struggle to earn starting jobs, the team could turn his way once again.

Jalen Richard has been a mainstay in the Raiders backfield for years, but with Kenyan Drake arriving last season, and the signing of Brandon Bolden this offseason, his time was done in Las Vegas. The Raiders also used a draft pick on Zamir White, so in a crowded backfield, there was no room for another go-around for Richard.

Finally, Desean Jackson was signed last year to give the Raiders a deep threat after the Henry Ruggs III tragedy, and while he had a few moments, he was not a part of the redo of the wideout room this offseason.
