The Las Vegas Raiders had success as a team on the field in 2021, and in 2022, these three players are set for even bigger and better results.

The 2021 Las Vegas Raiders made the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 NFL season, and that was thanks to them banding together for a four-game run to close the regular-season slate. In 2022, the goal is to keep moving forward and to do so, some of their key players are going to have to take another step in the right direction.

Here, we look at three Raiders set for bigger and better things in 2022.

Tre’Von Moehrig

One of the keys to the Raiders’ defense last season was the play of rookie safety, Tre’Von Moehrig. Las Vegas traded up to get the TCU star in the second round, and he played at a Pro Bowl level for most of the season, showing the kind of promise that the team had hoped they would get from Johnathan Abram at safety since taking him in the first round back in 2019.

In Moehrig, they have a kid who is going to be a stud in this league for a long time, and against the AFC West, which is loaded with elite quarterbacks, his play will prove crucial. I like Moehrig to take the next step forward in 2022, making his first Pro Bowl, and possibly playing at an All-Pro level.
