Derek Carr

Once again, the Raiders franchise will trot out Derek Carr as their starting quarterback, his ninth season at the helm of the Silver and Black. Statistically, Carr has done everything you could have asked of him since being inserted into the starting lineup as a rookie, but the wins have been few and far between.

However, 2022 brings a ton of optimism thanks to the fact the franchise brought in his best friend, Davante Adams, to be his new WR1. With Adams on the outside and guys like Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller as key options in the passing game, one would think that Carr could be in for his best season as a pro.

The truth is, Carr is already an above-average quarterback, and some feel he is one of the top-10 signal-callers in all of football. The 2022 season has a chance to be a special one for him, teaming with his best friend to hopefully bring the franchise their first playoff win in twenty years.
