Ways the Las Vegas Raiders won the 2022 offseason

Raised overall talent level on both sides of the ball

For years, the Las Vegas Raiders have seemingly had to scrape together talent to form their 53-man roster at the end of the summer. We have seen so many head-scratching moves when it came time to make cuts, and for most seasons, the Raiders have gone into the year with little to no depth at plenty of position groups.

That seems to have changed this offseason, as Ziegler and his staff have done a nice job not only bringing in elite talent in guys like Adams and Chandler Jones but have bolstered the talent up and down the lineup. No longer will rookies have to come in and start right away, and some of the younger veterans on the team will be fighting for their jobs this summer.

That kind of competition is only going to make this team better moving forward, as the franchise tries to make back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time in 20 years. Raising the standard of what it takes to play for this franchise was huge this offseason, and should lead to some incredible camp battles throughout the next few months.
