The Las Vegas Raiders have holes still to fill on the defensive side of the ball, but Cincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates can fill one in a hurry.

Tomorrow is the big day, as the Las Vegas Raiders veterans will head to training camp to get ready for the 2022 NFL season. Las Vegas is coming off one of their better seasons in a long time, as they punched their ticket to the playoffs after a five-year drought, despite all of the incidents off the field.

With more than on the roster than we have seen in quite some time, Las Vegas needs to figure out what their 53-man group will look like for the Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. There should be plenty of battles within the position groups, and for some areas, there still needs to be an influx of talent.

Yesterday, Cody Benjamin from CBSSports.com put out his list of the top-10 teams that need to trade for Bates, and the Silver and Black came in at No. 3 overall. Benjamin is right, Las Vegas needs him, and here are three reasons why they need to make the trade happen.
