28. . . . Davante Adams. 1. player

For years, Raiders fans had wondered what would happen if Derek Carr and his college best friend Davante Adams were reunited again. After dominating at Fresno State together, both Adams and Carr always appeared as if they wondered the same thing. However, Adams had flourished into the league’s best receiver in Green Bay which made the reunion seem impossible.

As such, the Raiders’ acquisition of Adams in the off-season quickly became one of the biggest storylines of the year. At the cost of a first and second-round pick, the Raiders went from a team who had the chance to make the playoffs to a team who expects to make noise in the playoffs.

Such is the impact of Adams who has left little doubt that he is the league’s best wide receiver. In 2022, he recorded an astonishing 123 receptions for 1,553 yards and eleven touchdowns for a Packers team that relied on him to carry their passing offense every week. Of course, he answered the call.

A two-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl selection, he now joins forces with his best friend Carr in Vegas. Far away from the snowy tundra of Green Bay, Adams should enjoy playing his games in a dome for one of the league’s most loaded offenses. With both Renfrow and Waller in tow, someone is going to be left in single coverage which, and as one of the league’s best route runners, should make for a monster season from Adams.

The best wide receiver in the NFL, and he is an easy choice as the best wide receiver in the division, even if the competition is stiff.
