By Jason Willis
In a loaded AFC West division, how do the wide receivers stack up amongst each other? Furthermore, how many Raiders crack the list?
While the biggest story in the AFC West was the Broncos’ addition of quarterback Russell Wilson, the wide receivers continued to make headlines. For the Raiders, it was the addition of Davante Adams. One of the league’s best players, he completely transforms the Las Vegas offense.
Elsewhere, the Chargers handed out big money to former first-round pick Mike Williams. Scheduled to be a free agent, they opted to keep him in town. Of course, he and Keenan Allen make quite the duo. One of the league’s most underrated players, Allen is one of its most consistent producers at the position.
In Kansas City, the Chiefs traded away their best playmaker in Tyreek Hill. After many dominant seasons playing alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, he was sent to Miami. Still, the Chiefs were active at the position when they signed Juju Smith-Schuster and drafted Skyy Moore. Still, their group took a massive hit with the loss of Hill.
With all the reshuffling and big moves, where does the division stand now? Furthermore, how do they compare to each other at one of the game’s most important positions?
