Mercifully, the Raiders will take the field for a game this week! While it is just a pre-season game, here are three things to watch for.

Heading into the 2022 season, the Raiders were a team that continued to dominate the headlines. Firstly, the team moved on from interim head coach Rich Bisaccia and brought in both Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels. Both hailing from the mighty New England Patriots, they have brought a renewed sense of leadership to the Silver and Black.

One of the first moves this duo made was the acquisition of former Packers receiver Davante Adams and Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones. Both are among the absolute best at their positions, they further legitimize a roster that is fresh off a playoff appearance.

For new head coach Josh McDaniels, he will get the luxury of a fourth pre-season game as the Raiders were nabbed to play the Jaguars in the NFL’s annual Hall of Fame game. Of course, this game will never be confused with a regular season game as most of the players in the game won’t even make the team. Regardless, it will be a great audition for many of the younger players on the Raiders roster.
