Potential Options
One of the most recognizable faces in the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent. If he has any interest in joining the Raiders, his presence would immediately add even more explosiveness to the offense. However, he is unlikely to be cost-effective at this point of the season. Regardless, he would turn the Raiders into a juggernaut.
If the team opted to go in another direction, former first-round pick Will Fuller is also available. As usual, he is a complete question mark due to his health after playing in just two games last season for the Dolphins. Even still, it is known that he can be a difference maker through his speed down the field.
Currently, on the roster, Las Vegas has just one option to play the “fast guy” role. This would be former Charger Tyron Johnson. After being a hot name in training camp, it appears that Johnson might be the lead guy to get touches on these downfield shot plays. Alas, he is hardly a well-refined wideout as he has long been a special teams player first and foremost.
