Linebackers: Denzel Perryman, Divine Deablo, Jayon Brown, Kenny Young, Darrien Butler
Cornerbacks: Rock Ya-Sin, Trayvon Mullen, Nate Hobbs, Anthony Averett, Darius Phillips
Safeties: Trevon Moehrig, Jonathan Abram, Duron Harmon, Tyree Gillespie
Special: Daniel Carlson, A.J. Cole, Trent Sieg
Despite some new additions, the Raiders linebacker group will feature two returning players at the top. Pro Bowler Denzel Perryman will once again provide reliability as a middle linebacker who tackles everything in sight.
With Deablo, Las Vegas is taking a chance on a potential lottery ticket. With his combination of size and speed, the sky is the limit.
Perhaps no position saw as much attention as defensive back did for the Raiders. After trading Yannick Ngakuoe for Ya-Sin, the team nabbed themselves a quality starter. Around him, the team still has the former second-round pick, Trayvon Mullen who has shown well when healthy. In the slot, Nate Hobbs is one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL.
Heading into his second year he has Pro Bowl potential.
At safety, the Raiders have another wildly underrated player in Trevon Moehrig. After a rookie season that saw him perform as one of the better safeties in the NFL, he will be a factor in Patrick Graham’s defense. Behind the starters, another Patriots carry-over in Harmon will certainly see playing time.
