The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Minnesota Vikings today inside Allegiant Stadium, and these three offensive players have the most to prove.
Today, the Las Vegas Raiders will battle it out with the Minnesota Vikings in preseason game No. 2, after a convincing win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Hall of Fame game. We saw the emergence of plenty of Raiders in that game, and going into this one, there are some key offensive players with the most to prove.
Here, we look at there of them.
Offensive Raiders with the most to prove in 2022 preseason game No. 2
Ameer Abdullah
One key position battle that has emerged this summer has been at running back, where Ameer Abdullah is really close to supplanting Kenyan Drake as the No. 2 option behind Josh Jacobs. Abdullah has been a pleasant surprise for the Silver and Black, and scored their first touchdown of the preseason against Jacksonville, before proceeding to do some incredible kick moves.
With another solid effort against the Vikings, Abdullah could put himself in a real spot to not only make this roster but become a key component in Josh McDaniels’ offense that requires plenty of running backs.
