The Las Vegas Raiders are having an excellent training camp in 2022, and some guys are making a strong push to come out of nowhere to make the Week 1 roster.

Last season, when Las Vegas Raiders’ 2nd-year tight end Nick Bowers made the roster as a fourth-string tight end, there was some collective surprise. Every season, players come out of nowhere to make the team and prove to be valuable contributors.

Players such as Jalen Richard, Nicholas Morrow, and Andre Holmes have come in recent years and forced the coaching staff to keep them on the roster.

This season, with a new regime, there are several players who have either surprised the new staff or rejuvenated their careers and look poised to be big players this season. Lester Cotton Sr., Tyron Johnson, Darien Butler, and Amik Robertson all look poised to make the roster after being overlooked and disregarded earlier this offseason.

However, a few other players are making strong cases to make the team this season.
