Raiders: Where does Derek Carr rank in terms of 2022 fantasy football?

Two-Quarterback league choices

11. Derek Carr (Las Vegas Raiders)

12. Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams)

13. Russell Wilson (Denver Broncos)

14. Matt Ryan (Indianapolis Colts)

15. Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings)

16. Trey Lance (San Francisco 49ers)

17. Marcus Mariota (Atlanta Falcons)

18. Deshaun Watson (Cleveland Browns)

If you are in a two-quarterback league then you have lucked out this year due to the sheer volume of talented quarterbacks available. Even if you are only in a one-quarterback league, the talent in this section will allow you to wait on a quarterback if you would like.

At the top of the list, Derek Carr outranks both Stafford and Wilson. With two great wide receivers and an elite tight end, all the pieces are in place for him to have an incredible statistical season. Stafford and Wilson are also both easily capable of top ten seasons but with Stafford’s injury and Wilson adapting to a new team, they may start slower than their fantasy managers would like.

At the back end of the list, Trey Lance and Marcus Mariota offer high upside with likely low investment costs. Both are projected to be starters for their teams, they also offer running ability that raises their value tremendously.

Of course, Deshaun Watson is here as well. We know that he is going to miss at least six games due to suspension but there is certainly potential for him to miss even more games after the NFL makes its ruling. However, if you’re feeling risky, he could win you several match-ups down the stretch if available.
