Raiders: Where does Derek Carr rank in terms of 2022 fantasy football?

Leave them on the Waiver Wire

19. Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars)

20. Justin Fields (Chicago Bears)

21. Jameis Winston (New Orleans Saints)

22. Daniel Jones (New York Giants)

23. Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins)

24. Ryan Tannehill (Tennesee Titans)

25. Mac Jones (New England Patriots)

26. Baker Mayfield (Carolina Panthers)

27. Carson Wentz (Washington Commanders)

28. Any Steelers quarterback

29. Jared Goff (Los Angeles Rams)

30. Davis Mills (Houston Texans)

31. Zach Wilson (New York Jets)

32. Drew Lock (Seattle Seahawks)

If you are heading into this draft season with the intention of streaming quarterbacks from week to week, this is the list of guys you will want to be familiar with. Namely, Lawrence and Fields are both supremely talented young players who are entering their second seasons. In Chicago, the offense around Fields leaves much to be desired but his ability as a runner could be the great equalizer.

From spots 22-26 we see a lot of quarterbacks who are not going to lose you a week but they also just don’t have the potential for consistent big games like the players on tiers before them. If you have to choose one of these players, go with Jones. This will be his first year in Brian Daboll’s offense, Saquon Barkley should be healthy and he offers value as a runner.

From 27-32, you should never consider drafting these players. Keep an eye on them, however, as a guy like Wentz could offer some value if you are experiencing injury issues at quarterback throughout the season. Also, if Trubisky wins the job in Pittsburgh, he has the potential for some good weeks due to his supporting cast and, once again, ability to make plays with his legs.
