The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to get their season started on the right foot this Sunday, and here are some keys to victory against the Chargers.

On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders will kick off their 2022 season on the road, as they travel to SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. While the game is a road game on the schedule, it will once again feel like a home game, as the Raiders own the City of Los Angeles.

If the Raiders hope to come away with victory No. 1 on opening weekend, these are the keys that need to happen.

Protect Derek Carr

The Raiders did a tremendous job adding weapons for quarterback Derek Carr this offseason, and they will be on full display Sunday against Los Angeles. Davante Adams is widely regarded as the best wideout in the NFL, and Hunter Renfrow is as good a No. 2 wideout as you can get at this level.

Tight end Darren Waller is also one of the best in the business, but in order for this all to work, the Raiders will need strong play from their offensive line. The offensive line is considered the biggest question mark on this roster, and have a tall task ahead of them in Week 1, as the Chargers brought in Khalil Mack to supplement Joey Bosa in the pass rush.
