Spread the wealth

The big news of the offseason for the Silver and Black was the addition of Davante Adams, and based on his history with Derek Carr, you can expect the ball to go to him early and often this season. However, in order for this offense to run smoothly, Carr has to spread the wealth, and luckily for him, he has more than a few options.

Las Vegas also needs to establish the run game, something Josh McDaniels had no problem doing during his time as the offensive coordinator in New England. McDaniels has a plethora of options in the backfield, including Josh Jacobs, rookie Zamir White, and Brandon Bolden, who he is more than familiar with from their time together with the Patriots.

The truth is, the Raiders will be one of the more explosive offenses in football this upcoming season if they can get good blocking, especially on the right side. Carr has had some monster seasons with a lot less in terms of weapons, so the expectation is that he takes it to the next level in 2022.
