The Las Vegas Raiders face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. Here are the x-factors for the Silver and Black to get the victory over their AFC West rivals.

The Las Vegas Raiders embark on a 2022 season with Super Bowl aspirations, and their first opponent on the schedule is their AFC West rivals in Southern California. The Raiders will travel to SoFi Stadium and meet the Los Angeles Chargers after splitting the regular season series in 2021.

While the Chargers handed the Raiders their first loss last season in Week 4, Las Vegas got the last laugh in beating Los Angeles in overtime in Week 18.

The Raiders’ 35-32 overtime win in the regular season finale punched their ticket to the postseason for just the second time since 2002, while the Chargers were sent to an early offseason vacation.

Both teams enter Week 1 with new additions on both sides of the ball, with the larger goal of surviving a highly contested race for the AFC West crown. Divisional victories could make the difference in the postseason race, and here are the x-factors for the Raiders to start the season 1-0.
