Full 2022 NFL Season Predictions: Division winners, awards, and more

AFC Playoff Teams

  • 1. Baltimore Ravens (13-4)
  • 2. Buffalo Bills (13-4)
  • 3. Las Vegas Raiders (13-4)
  • 4. Indianapolis Colts (9-8)
  • WC1: Los Angeles Chargers (11-6)
  • WC2: Kansas City Chiefs (11-6)
  • WC3: Denver Broncos (11-6)

You are reading that correctly, the entire AFC West will make the playoffs in 2022. The best division in the NFL, all four teams believe they can win the Super Bowl and they will get a chance to prove it here. Overall, the Raiders win the division at 13-4 behind a high-powered offense led by Derek Carr and Davante Adams.

Both the AFC North and East were dominated by the Ravens and Bills respectively. As the Bengals experience a Super Bowl hangover and finish 9-8, Baltimore finishes as the one seed in the AFC behind the brilliance of Lamar Jackson. Of course, the Bills won the AFC East handily as they have perhaps the most complete team in the NFL. The Colts limp into the playoffs at 9-8 by winning a division that likely doesn’t deserve a playoff team in 2022.

As for the Wild Cards, this may be the best group of non-division winners in NFL history. All three of these teams have a realistic chance of going to the Super Bowl and are led by some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. With a massive matchup between the Raiders and Chiefs on the schedule in round one, fans in Las Vegas would certainly be in for a treat.
