Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory against the Cardinals in Week 2

Contain Kyler Murray in the run game

The Raiders can make their day a lot easier by containing Kyler Murray in the run game. Ls  Vegas will have to have a spy on Murray, especially in man ,or he will take off for big gains. Murray loves to scramble and try to extend plays, so the rushing lanes must be crisp by utilizing the mirror technique from the front, not allowing him to get loose when the play breaks down.

With Hopkins being out once again this Sunday, Murray will want to use his legs more to try and compensate for the lack of weapons. If the Raiders can keep him contained in the run game the game plan will then focus on Zach Ertz and Marquise Brown in the passing game.

Patrick Graham will have a good plan going into the game Sunday, containing Murray, and making the role players beat them through the air while going after their vulnerable offensive line in pass rushing. The Chiefs had constant pressure on Murray while contesting every ball in the air and were just fine, the Raiders have a better pass rush than the Chiefs, and the secondary gives them problems once again through the air.
