Raiders at Chargers: Offensive Grades for 2022 Week 1
Offensive Line
The offensive line was the most important question this season, and it did not start great.
The pass protection was glaring, and Carr was uncomfortable all game long. However, the player who was disappointed the most was Kolton Miller, who was easily the lowest-graded offensive line in the game. Khalil Mack overpowered him multiple times and recorded three sacks and four QB hits.
Joey Bosa gave Jermaine Eluemunor all he could hand, but Eluemunor seemed to hold his own more often than not. Though he also got completely bull-rushed by Mack on one of his sacks.
Nine QB hits and six total sacks will not get it done against any team. The Chargers have one of the best pass-rushing duos in the league, but if the Raiders want to win a division title, they will have to be better.
On the positive, Dylan Parham graded out as the third-best guard of week one, according to PFF.
