The Las Vegas Raiders’ home opener will see them welcome the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. Here are our bold predictions for Sunday’s matchup.

The Raiders largely beat themselves in their Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers after untimely turnovers and missed opportunities hindered a potential victory. And yet they still found themselves within a touchdown of pulling off a comeback, which speaks to the potential of this team with high aspirations.

As the Silver and Black return to Allegiant Stadium for their home opener against the Cardinals, the added motivation could lead to notable performances come Sunday afternoon.

Las Vegas enters as favorites in Week 2 and it speaks to the belief that multiple players could be in for bounce-back performances. Despite the offense flashing its potential through the air, don’t be surprised to see the ball spread around more evenly against Arizona. Another week of regular season football underneath their belts means this offense could look much more refined versus the Cardinals.

The matchup will also see more than a few familiar faces playing against each other once more, adding a “revenge game” factor that could lead to some noteworthy performances in the box score.

Ahead of Sunday afternoon’s matchup, these are our bold predictions as the Raiders face the Cardinals in Week 2.
