Las Vegas Raiders vs Cardinals Week 2: 3 Bold Predictions

Derek Carr throws for three touchdowns and zero interceptions

You can bet that Carr has heard the criticism piling on throughout the week, and the Raiders quarterback has not been shy about taking the blame for his Week 1 performance. Despite tossing two touchdowns and flexing his chemistry with Davante Adams, he also took responsibility for tossing three interceptions and fumbling the ball twice.

There’s no better way to silence the critics for a week than following up with a dominant performance the very next game. Carr will welcome the Cardinals defense on Sunday, who just surrendered five touchdowns through the air against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dating back to last season, the Cardinals’ defense surrendered an average of 1.8 passing touchdowns per game, which was the seventh-highest average in the league.

With the home crowd behind him and eager to illustrate how talented this offense can truly be, we’re predicting a big day for Carr in the home opener. He’ll find the endzone three times on the day while going spotless in the turnover column for good measure.
