Las Vegas Raiders vs Cardinals Week 2: 3 Bold Predictions

Chandler Jones finishes with three sacks

The “revenge game” factor can propel a player’s performance to a new level, and Jones will face his former team on Sunday. A year ago the future Hall-of-Famer had an incredible five-sack performance in Week 1 for the Cardinals, so he has the track record of being able to disrupt opposing offenses single-handedly.

Now as he faces a few familiar faces, he should have some extra motivation when getting to the quarterback.

The Cardinals’ offensive line has a history of leaks when protecting Kyler Murray, as Arizona ranked 18th last season with an average of 2.3 sacks surrendered per game. In Week 1 against Kansas City, the Chiefs brought down Murray twice for a combined loss of 18 yards.

Next. Keys to victory against the Cardinals in Week 2. dark

Last week it was Maxx Crosby that had two quarterback hits on Justin Herbert, with Jones following suit with a quarterback hit himself. In Week 2 we’re predicting the scripts get flipped, and not only will Jones pressure the quarterback but he’ll get the job done in bringing Murray to the ground multiple times. Three sacks for Jones against his former team sounds about right for Sunday.
