4 expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 Week 2

Pressure Kyler Murray

The Chiefs were able to dominate the Arizona offense thanks to a great performance from their standout defensive line. They sacked Kyler Murray three times and hit him 6 times which is a solid achievement on one of the most elusive quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL.

Even against a much-improved Chargers offensive line the Raiders were able to generate pressure but were not able to seal the deal with sacks the way LA was able to. Trying to take down Justin Herbert is a much different challenge than taking down Murray but this is an area where Chandler Jones and Maxx Crosby should excel and make an impact on the game.

Arizona is facing its own injury issues on the offensive line with starting guard Justin Pugh currently out with a stinger and as of Thursday does not look like he will play on Sunday. The Raiders will be facing an old teammate in center Rodney Hudson who was once one of the best players in the league at his position but has slowed down a bit with age. If the Raiders can beat up on Kyler Murray then they should be able to win the game which takes us to our final expectation for Week 2.
