Raiders vs Cardinals 2022 Week 2: Studs and Duds

Dud – Hunter Renfrow

It’s official, Hunter Renfrow has a fumbling problem. We all love the guy and he has established himself as a cult hero of sorts among Raider Nation but we can admit when there is something wrong and his lack of ball security is a major issue.

Last season, Renfrow had 5 fumbles but luckily the Raiders or Renfrow himself were able to recover most of them but it finally bit them in the butt against Arizona. What makes Renfrow’s game-deciding fumble even worse is that he had just fumbled on the play before but luckily Foster Moreau was in the right place to make the recovery.

There was no such luck on the second fumble and it led to Arizona’s scoop and score to end the game and that lands Renfrow firmly on the duds list for Week 2. Renfrow now has 3 fumbles in 2 games, and he has to learn how to protect the ball in traffic because it looks far too easy for it to be punched out when he is being tackled in the open field.
