Raiders vs Titans Prediction and Odds for 2022 Week 3 NFL Football
By Brad Weiss
The Las Vegas Raiders hit the road to take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, and here are the early odds and prediction for this AFC battle.
With Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season in the books, and a shocking loss by the Las Vegas Raiders gone with it, we turn our attentions to the Silver and Black’s Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The Raiders will hit the road for this matchup between two teams who are desperately trying to keep their AFC Playoff hopes alive, and one that should be a close battle.
In Week 2, the Titans played on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills on the road, and were blasted from start to finish. Their defense allowed over 40 points to Josh Allen and company, as the duo of he and Stefon Diggs could not be stopped.
Hopefully, the duo of Derek Carr and Davante Adams can repeat that performance Sunday.
Here, we look at the early odds and prediction for this matchup.
Raiders at Titans Odds Week 3
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, despite the loss to the Cardinals in Week 2, the Raiders are actually the favorite on the road against Tennessee. The spread is currently set at 2.5 in the Raiders favor, but as we inch closer to kickoff, that could change. The over/under for this contest is set at 46.5, so it is clear that the oddsmakers do not expect a ton of offense in this matchup.
If you bet the Raiders on the money line, the odds are -134, while the Titans would double your money with +114. This is a game where it is anybody’s guess as to who could win, as both teams have underachieved this season, and are clinging to their playoff lives early on.
Raiders at Titans Prediction Week 3
This is going to be an excellent test for this Las Vegas Raiders football team, who has yet to put four quarters of football together in one game. They played well in the second half in Week 1 against the Chargers, and outstanding in the first half of Week 2 against Arizona, but still go into this game looking for their first win.
The growing pains have to be over for head coach Josh McDaniels, who took his foot off the gas in Week 2, and allowed Arizona to stay alive long enough to beat Las Vegas in overtime. He is going up against a familiar face in Mike Vrabel, and if Las Vegas can pound the ball inside, while utilizing guys like Adams in the passing game, they should come away with a narrow victory.
Final Score: Raiders 24, Titans 21
