The Raiders have to step up from dropping to 0-3, as the conservative play calling and decision-making in OT from Josh McDaniels is unacceptable. McDaniels and the rest of the staff have to find a way to get their playmakers the ball and keep their foot on the gas throughout four quarters if Las Vegas wants to achieve their goals this season.

Davante Adams disappeared in Week 2 against a below-average Arizona Cardinals secondary, which was surprising because he is one of the most dynamic receivers in the NFL. Adams has to show up against the Titans in Week 3 on the road, as the Titans are a very well-coached team with a defensive-minded head coach that is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Bills on Monday Night Football.

Play calling throughout the game has to be more consistent and go with what’s working and stick to it until the other team can stop it. The efficiency of mixing the run and pass has to be there, and in the first half against Arizona, it was there, as Josh Jacobs was punishing the defense, and Derek Carr looked unstoppable through the air.

The Raiders’ offense is ranked 28th per PFF, which is absurd considering the amount of talent, and the reputation McDaniels had when he came over from New England. We are not hitting the panic button yet, but a loss in Week 3 could be devastating for the team’s playoff chances already.

To beat Tennessee, these Raiders have to step up.
