These Raiders must step up against the Titans in Week 3
Chandler Jones
Through two games, newcomer Chandler Jones hasn’t produced like the Raiders wanted, as in 138 snaps Jones has just four pressures and no sacks. Jones has been a non-factor in the first two weeks, and in Week 3, he needs to show why he was one of the best pass rushers in the league and get after Ryan Tannehill, while also slowing down Derrick Henry.
With the Raiders signing Chandler Jones to a three-year deal worth $52.5 million, he has to make more of an impact, as the Raiders as a whole have only one sack this season. The NFL is a passing league, and without pressure, just about any quarterback will pick you apart no matter how good the backend is.
Without Taylor Lewan in the lineup, Jones should have a great opportunity to get back in sync as he missed most of training camp and all of the preseason. Jones could be in for a big week as he works himself back into shape, having a better feel for the scheme, and as time goes by, he should go back to being an impact player.
