The Las Vegas Raiders dropped their third straight game to start the season, here are the studs and duds from the loss to the Tennessee Titans
The Las Vegas Raiders have been an enigma this season as they have lost three games by a combined 13 points and have been the better team in several halves but not in a full game. They had a chance to get their season back on track against a heavily wounded Tennessee team but a wounded animal backed into a corner is the most dangerous.
The Titans came out swinging early and the Raiders had no answer for Derrick Henry and surprisingly not for Robert Woods either. The Titans’ offense looked crisp and efficient in the first half while the Raiders’ offense was doomed by drops and penalties early on.
Things took a turn in the second half as the Tennessee offense was shut out but it was too little too late for the Raiders as they continued to shoot themselves in the foot with penalties and drops. It all came to a head on the final offensive drive for the Raiders as they scored a dramatic touchdown on fourth down but could not convert the two-point try to tie things up.
It was another gut punch of a loss for a team that may be reeling into obscurity this season despite all the talent it possesses. They face a tough test with a division rival coming to town in Week 4 but first, here are the studs and duds from another brutal loss.
