Las Vegas Raiders vs Tennessee Titans 2022 Week 3: Studs and Duds

Stud – Maxx Crosby

Maxx Crosby continues to be the only member of the defense that shows up consistently week to week and he had yet another dominant performance on Sunday against Tennessee. Coming off recording the first sack of the year for the Raiders in Week 2, Crosby came out and recorded a tackle for loss on the first play of the game and came up with a crucial sack and forced fumble on Ryan Tannehill late in the game.

Crosby finished the day with nine combined tackles, one pass defended a sack, and two tackles for loss in a game where it felt like he was camped out in the Titans’ backfield. He has been a disruptive force for the Raiders’ defense and it is a shame that all of the attention he attracts has not led to more production from his pass rush partner Chandler Jones (more on him later).

The stud defensive end is well on his way to yet another Pro Bowl season and his growth as a player and leader on this team has been incredible to watch. His legendary motor is now being matched by incredible pass rush technique and his ability to diagnose plays to form one of the best pass rushers in the league.

He is almost always in the right place at the right time and his teammates need to match his intensity if the Raiders are to get back on track.
