Davante Adams finishes with 150+ yards and 2 touchdowns

Davante Adams‘ best game as a Raider came in Week 1 when he hauled in 10 catches on 17 targets for 141 yards and a touchdown. Since the season opener, he’s had just seven catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns in the past two weeks. Adams and Derek Carr have seen the chatter on social and from the media all week, questioning whether Adams made the right choice in leaving Green Bay for Sin City.

Now that it’s do-or-die time for the Raiders and their season hopes, Carr and his number one receiver should be motivated to quiet the critics en route to a big AFC West win in Week 4. Carr has historically needed the first few weeks of the season to get acclimated to a new play-caller, and this Sunday has the makings of Carr and Josh McDaniels being in sync from start to finish. First and foremost, that means scheming to get Adams open in coverage.

With the Raiders achieving the former, it should make the latter come to fruition even against a noteworthy Broncos defense (which has arguably seen easier opponents through the first three weeks of the season). We’re predicting Adams to have an even better day since his Week 1 debut, which means he finishes with 150+ receiving yards and finds the end zone not once, but twice on Sunday.
