The Las Vegas Raiders hit the road before the bye week to take on the Kansas City Chiefs, and here is our early prediction piece and odds by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Incredibly, Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season is upon us, and for the Las Vegas Raiders, it will be their final game before their bye week. Before the break, the team has to make one more road trip, traveling to Kansas City, Missouri to take on the Kansas City Chiefs inside Arrowhead.

In their last time out, the Raiders finally picked up their first win of the season, a convincing 32-23 bashing of rival Denver. Running back Josh Jacobs ran wild over the Broncos, rushing for a career-high 144 yards and two scores, while the Silver and Black got their first defensive touchdown in three years courtesy of a scoop-and-score from Amik Robertson.

The task in Week 5? Beat Kansas City on the road, win their second straight, and get some momentum for this season back.

Raiders at Chiefs Odds Week 5

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders are massive underdogs on the road in this one, as they are currently getting 7.5 points in this match-up. Betting on the Silver and Black straight up would net you a big gain, as they are +285, while a straight up bet on Kansas City is -350. The over/under for this contest is set at 51.5, so there are going to be a lot of points to be had in this AFC West match-up.

Raiders at Chiefs Prediction Week 5

Beating Kansas City on the road is never an easy task, but the Raiders do have some momentum, and it is much easier to play in Arrowhead in October than it is in December. Still, Kansas City is fresh off rolling over Tampa Bay this past weekend in prime time, and right now, they seem like a team destined to make another run to a Super Bowl appearance.

Las Vegas has the talent to run with the Chiefs in this one, and if they can establish the run game like they did against Denver, it will make this very close. While winning the game may be a bit of a stretch, Las Vegas should certainly cover the spread, as I believe this is going to be a three-point game either way.

Early Prediction: Chiefs 31, Raiders 28
