Las Vegas Raiders fantasy football: Start or Sit in 2022 Week 5
Only four NFL teams allow an explosive pass play on 10% or more of the opponent’s dropbacks, and the Raiders are one of those teams at 11%. The Cheifs are not the explosive passing game they were with Tyreek Hill, but you haven’t needed to be that to get chunk plays against the Raiders.
Patrick Mahomes put on a show against a tough Bucs defense last week and has sadly dominated the Raiders throughout his career. In eight career games against the Raiders, he has thrown 22 touchdowns and only three interceptions.
Fantasy-wise, it hasn’t been a good last few weeks for Darren Waller. Only 10.6 points over the previous two weeks, and he is currently outside the top ten in overall points for tight ends. In a position that lacks any semblance of depth, those who drafted Waller assumed they would be getting one of the few that could be relied on, but that hasn’t been the case.
Waller owners are probably in a situation where they have no choice but to start him; however, he doesn’t bring much confidence at the moment.
